Builder gets muddy for Help for Heroes – Tough Mudder

Jim Hadfield of building company A J Field Developments gets muddy for Help for Heroes.

Pictured here at the finish line of the North West Tough Mudder event with the rest of Claire Sherbourne’s “Boot Camp Buddies” are Jim Hadfield, Rosalind Wallis, Emma Blake, Jonathan Hadfield, Nick Blake, Martin Wallis, Helen Davies and Claire Sherbourne.

The challenge included a 12 mile assault course with 21 obstacles to tackle along the way, including a mud mile filled waist deep with muddy water, scaling 10ft walls, underwater tunnels, electroshock therapy, plunging into ice filled waters and crawling through a “tear gas” enclosed structure.  The course relies heavily on team work, mud and fun!

Jim’s endurance efforts have been going towards raising funds for Help for Heroes “I wanted to show my appreciation towards service personnel and their families who have given so much in service to their country and now need our help to overcome injuries and other life changing issues”.

Jim joined a team at Cholmondeley Castle with Wrenbury based fitness trainer Claire Sherbourne’s “Boot Camp Buddies.”  The funds raised so far stand at £600. For more information or to pledge your support to Help for Heroes visit justgiving.com/jim-hadfield.
